What is Lab Gut Biome Testing?
Lab Gut Biome testing can give a person an idea of the types and amounts of microorganisms in their gut. It can also provide knowledge about the overall state of your gut, this will allow us to understand what the next steps are for you.
We offer tests for cancer, leaky gut candida, parasites and lactose and IBDs like crohns and celiac. once we have the samples required they are sent to our lab and tested.

What we test for:
Investigation for all yeasts and moulds (qualitative and semi-quantitative), including free mouth swab, pH of the stool and virulence test for all yeasts.
Tumour-M2-PK in stool (a protien released when tumours are present) & Intestinal bleeding Haemoglobin-haptoglobin complex in the stool as a very sensitive marker for intestinal bleeding (test for intestinal cancer and polyps).
Pancreatic elastase is a marker for chronic and acute pancreas inflammation.
- Secretory IgA in the stool (intestinal immune system)
- Calprotectin in the stool (inflammation marker)
- Alpha 1 antitrypsin (leaky gut test)
- β-Defensin 2 inflammation marker (a Crohns marker/ibd)
- Zonulin intestinal permeability (leaky gut marker)
Test for the immune system in the gut from a simple stool test
Coeliac disease is a condition where your immune system attacks your own tissues when you eat gluten. It stops you from taking in nutrients.

Important Details: We request 48hours notice of cancellation. Should you fail to cancel within these guidelines a 50% charge will apply. All no shows and same day cancellations will be charged the full cost of the treatment. All treatments are by appointment only and require card details to secure your booking. (50% deposit will be taken at the time of booking)
